I'm guessing that they don't want to be seen to be just "rail" operators -
it's good business practice to not necessarily narrow down what you do in a
business, and think in terms of "transport" and "freight" rather than
"trains" and "rails". A bit like what was FV, in that they obviously don't
want to narrow their business down to just Victoria if there is good
business in other parts of the country for the picking as well.
I'm sure that if the Government was to half the cost of buying and
maintaining trucks and double the costs to railways, rail operators would
be looking at using trucks too in a much wider capacity. Then a name like
"FreighRail" would look rather silly :>
