The obligatory deluge started just after the departure of LS52 (2705 + 6
cars, running on a Ticket) from Buxton, ensuring those on the last trike
ride, which was going to Hilltop, got wet. This run was terminated between
Balmoral and Hilltop, and reversed, before returning to Buxton to change
staffs, then proceed to Thirlmere.

S.M. Buxton, however, was able to retreat to his 'Office' in the new,
mobile, Buxton station building, where he remained warm & dry until the
arrival of the Trikes ;-)

Cheers,

Lindsay Lucas
