As from 0001 Sunday 5th March, appears that the Electric staff workings
on the dual guage between Newport and Broklyn is abolished and is known
to under ABS ( Automatic Block System) and not CTC and worked from
Adelaide (ARTC).
It is rumored that Broklyn may not be manned during the day time
(0900-1500), and how things will be worked remains to be seen.
Newport `A` will loose 11 signal switches from the panel to ARTC I have
heard from there.
