The G class laying over in Echuca
yard as posted earlier today, is G513 (V/Line paintjob).
It worked an empty (20 hoppers) grain
extra into Echuca very early this morning and then was shutdown. Train travelled
ex Geelong via Maryborough, Castlemaine and Bendigo - the second such working to
occur this week!.
9083 last night ex Melb. had approx..
30 empty grain hoppers plus approx..10 container flats. That makes 50 empty
grain hoppers into Echuca within a ten hour period last night!
A grain extra tomorrow (Sat.) MAY be
a possibility going south via Bendigo, Castlemaine & Maryborough OR the
loading on 9084 to Melb. Sunday night will be a "biggy" by including
the loaded hoppers with the usual long rake of loaded export rice container
flats.
