Bruce:

The Class 24 is still in Auckland being worked on to meet the QR 
requirements. It appears that it may now ship to Brisbane at the end of 
July, and will then be towed to Cairns for final commissioning and 
testing. It also has to have the boiler certified by Workplace Health & 
Safety.
It appears that the CKST are lloking at hiring a diesel to get the 
service started.
