[Ausloco] Re: Echuca's big weekend "in Steam"

G'day all,

Sunday 11th & Monday 12th were "busy days at the office" for Echuca-based "Freight Australia" staff, West Coast railway crews & Seymour LSPG crews. 

Y112 was busy all day on shuttles along with Seymours' J515 as well as R761 in ex Melb.and out (to Melb) that evening. Shuttles were run to both Barnes NSW and Tongala Vic. on the Toolamba line on both Sun. & yesterday. Each group/owner did shuttles to each destination a day apiece. The best compromise for all concerned no doubt! 
All this occurred whilst Echuca's 37th annual Steam, Horse and Vintage Rally was attracting huge crowds in glorious winter sunshine.  

Yesterday (Mon.) was even busier as the G class had to be "squeezed in" between the shuttles to run the return Deniliquin NSW goods in the afternoon PLUS the Sprinter arrived and departed from & to Bendigo in the afternoon to its usual Sunday timetable as well as 9084 goods to Melb. last night as usual. Shades of Echuca in times long past...
