RE: [Ausloco] A bit more on the CPH Railmotor

Not really locos, but I'll reply here anyway in case anyone else is interested. I'm building a Silvermaz CPH and CTH at the moment.
According to "Railmotors and XPTs" by David Cooke the bogies on the first 32 cars were of inside journal type fitted with wheels made of 3mm dished plate, this was increased to 5mm after problems were experienced. Five cars were built with 812mm dia wheels on the driving axle, the other 3 axles had 635mm dia wheels. Remaining cars up to No32 had 812mm dia on both axles on driving bogie, 635mm dia on other bogie.
Cars 33 to 37 were built with a new bogie with outside axleboxes and all wheels of 825mm dia. These were classified 2QO. Roller bearings were fitted to both bogies of 35 and No. 2 end of 36 in 1959, these were 2QR. The No. 1 end of 36 had a 2QG at this time. No. 10 received 2QR bogies between 1959 and 1961.
The original bogies on 1-32 was replaced by the 2QG from 1931 onwards. 33-37 were fitted with 2QG between 1964 and 1967. The 2QG had wheels of 825mm dia.
Regards,
Chris.

Someone got a small photo of the front of this Railmotor? Also, can someone
tell me what type of Bogies are used on the CPH, and the size of the wheels?

Martin
