[Ausloco] Re: Echuca sightings

G'day all,

Further to my posting of yesterday...

A 73 worked into Echuca yesterday as a light engine movement ex the Shepparton/Mooroopna region and via the Toolamba - Echuca line. Seems that X 44 could not be started yesterday morning in Echuca at around 0500 hrs. It was to work the Moulamein job that morning and of course no such working occurred!

A 73 ran the Deniliquin & return yesterday evening. As for yesterday's 9084? It was still in Tottenham yard, Melb. at 1800 hrs last night (usual dep. is 1230 -1400 hrs) with a signed-on Echuca-based driver not very happy with his "lot". I was "racking up ZZzzz's" when 9084 eventually arrived in Echuca early a.m. this morning whereupon it swapped the changeover X class for the disabled X 44 which returned to Melb. forthwith with the usual G class.

The "fresh"/changeover X class (No. unknown) worked the Moulamein line job to Burraboi only, this morning. Y 112 is, as yet, unsited in Echuca.

See Ya AH
