The long roads used to be one each broad and standard gauge, for the
Overland and Southern Aurora. They were mainly used for cleaning and
provisioning sleeping cars. There was a large laundry attached to the
building for cleaning the linen, which I think has been gutted and turned
into offices.

The Spirit didn't need such luxury as it was mainly sitting cars.
