Re: [Ausloco] NJ class loco details

Hi Alex

No, I don't plan to do it commercially- don't think there is the demand and
I don't really have any 'production facilities'. I'm pretty careful before
sending molds off to manufacturers- my experience is that they get lost or
forgotten about !

The castings consist of two side walls, a roof and the rear wall of the
loco. They are just cast in Easycast, the detail is pretty good but you may
need to sand and touch up with some gap filling cement. They are essentially
made for my own needs so I wouldn't call them a 'kit'.

I am going to cast flexicoil truck sideframes and a pilot.

The castings are designed to be used with the Weico 422 kit which has two of
the correct cabs. So you'll need one of these kits.

I'd be happy to send you some castings- I'll do the truck and pilot castings
first though.

A warning that you'll pretty much need to scratchbuild a mechanism for this
loco- AFAIK there isn't anything with the right wheel spacing in N.

Cheers

Ben
