The C17 is a 4-8-0.  As #967 is one of the last batch of 40, it has Timken roller bearings - check the tender axlebox covers to verify.

I hope Ausloco will continue in some form: the information has been valuable.

quite possibly - it's the only unidentified steam loco here.  I'm not
big on my steam locos, so can't say for sure.  What's the wheel
arrangement for a C17?  I'll check it next time I'm out that way.
