As I travel on the road between Parkes and Condo quite frequently, could
anyone tell me what the tabled times for the pass train are please? I may be
actually able to coincide a trip through there when it is around. I usually
see an east bound freight hauled by two NR's around Ootha about 9.15- 9.30
am of a Monday morning when I'm on my way through there.
There were two NR's on a east bound freight just out of Bogan Gate this
morning about 8.50am but were too far away to get any numbers.
It's interesting to see the NR's frequently stabled in Narromine yard for
Silverton ore working now. I wonder how long it has been since Narromine has
seen a regular stabling of loco's as the actually loco facility closed many
many years ago. But the turntable is still in existence, but I defy anyone
to get a loco onto it!
