Guys,

I have just recieved my photos back from a trip to SA just before new year, 
and happened to find one of DA3. It is sitting on a flat wagon, at Port 
Augusta (Clyde?) and has a severely bent frame, looking like it was 
involved in a pretty bad accident at some point.

Can anyone enlighten me to what happened to this loco?

I will attempt to scan the photo tonight and put it onto the web if anyone 
is interested.
