Alice Springs: 28/1-30/1

Fri 28/1: NR22 with what I estimate to be about 40 wagons including 3-4
Mereenie tanks, 5AL7N arrival at 1530: about 4 hours early.  NR22
shunted the yard until around 1950.

Sat 29/1: NR25 / DL39, NR22, in the section of yard which seems to pass
as the loco depot, 0930.
NR20/NR110 (back to back) / 40-50 wagons, 6AL7N arrival, 1850 (20'
early); shunted for the next few hours, mostly assembling Sunday
morning's departure.  I also noted one of the ex-USA semi-trailer
carrying flats complete with pedestal, stored with the numerous tanks
and stock wagons.

Sun 30/1: well, officially confirmed it: I'm an idiot!  Arose at 4am to
see the departure.  NR25 / NR20 / NR110 dead attached (marshalled 1/2/1
ends leading) / 1 mobil tank / 11 Mereenie tanks / 3 x 5-well sets, all
double-stacked / 2 x single-stacked 5-well sets / 4 flats / 2-pack / 2
flats / 2-pack / 2 flats / 3-pack / 8 flats / 2-pack / seatrain open
wagon / 3 flats: =66 wagons, 1LA6N departure, 0430 (10' late).  Only one
empty slot, on a 2-pack set.  Two of the single flats were 80' wagons,
the rest 60'.  Then I went back to bed until 0930.

I can't remember if I mentioned, but since we're not on daylight savings
time and SA is, trains are running to SA time, which means an hour
earlier than tabled in / out of Alice.

Now nothing more runs until Tuesday morning's departure (sigh!).
