At 8.40am this morning, in a scene reminescent of a branch line goods
working, 8106 led a very small load of 4 box cars (incl. two marked V/Line)
south into Enfield Yard. Interestingly 8106 had a FreightCorp "paint job"
but National Rail decals on the sides at both ends of the loco.
This was followed by 8007/8033 heading north, leading what looked like a
limestone train (~20-30 empty wagons, marked NHEF).
All the while, waiting in the yard facing south were: 8173/8168 with a full
load of coalies, 8025 with a rake of half full container flats and facing
north 48132/48117 waited with a few oil wagons.
At Delec, 4904 was taking a Tangara through the wheel lathe.
All the best,
Rob
