Evenin' all,
There is a major refuelling facility
just a few kms west of Broken Hill platform on the mainline. When locos arrived
at the "Hill" from either operator, they would run light to this
facility on the main and refuel then return to the loco depot to stable. The IP
used to (and probably still does with the power vans!) refuel its CLP locos at
the facility as it passed it on the main. The timetable allowed for this stop
and may still do so. No doubt somebody will know its name - I've forgotten it
for the moment.
