Evenin' again,

9084 departed Echuca Vic at 2000 hrs tonight with G515 (FV) + X42 hauling 39 VHGX grain hoppers + 20 container flats (all with two bagged rice export containers) for 59 = 950 metres & 4100 tonnes. A "Biggy" indeed!

It will no doubt receive more horsepower at Bendigo for the run on to Melb.

Evenin' all,

Contrary to yesterdays posting from me, X42 ran to Burraboi NSW (last silos before reaching end of line at Moulamein NSW) today (Sun) & returned with 17 VHGX loaded hoppers some with wheat & some with barley. Arr Echuca 1530 hrs. Workings on the Moulamein line are very rare on Sundays!

G515 (FV) worked the usual job to Deniliquin NSW @1330 hrs and, unusually, returned without any loading at all to Echuca arr 1710 hrs.

Echuca yard would have had at least 60 various vehicles earlier today, made up of container flats and VHGX hoppers. Loadings are heavy currently. Add the 17 ex Burraboi this afternoon and a busy shunt is currently happening prior to G515 + X42 working 9084 to Melb anytime from now.
