Exeter last week

Aus loco discussion mailing list

 Saw this in the Archives.

The 48 class on 9325 were dead attached I think but we saw them at Exeter
platform so it was difficult to tell. It was an empty train with the two 81
class so the 48's perhaps were not required.

By the way. We got back into the car and chased it to Bundanoon. The rear
wagons were still just entering the Bundanoon station when we got there but
they seemed to indicate that the train had almost come to a stop. Kept
driving and the train picked up speed again. We could not keep up with it...
