He has recovered well and is back at work. The jury is still out on who got
the biggest fright. The driver thought he stepped on a stick that had
flipped up and brushed his leg. He put his hand down to remove the stick and
was bitten on the leg and also on the arm. He (the driver) is very lucky the
snake wasn't ready for him, as the snake only got a small amount of venom
into him.
The snake, a tiger variety, was last seen heading off into the darkness in
the vicinity of Woy Woy tunnel, probably heading for the reptile "Emergency
Room" for a dose of loco driver anti-venine.
