The Log trains have started, the Train leaves Nth Geelong Yard at 2130 hrs
Monday to Friday, the train runs as 9442, and operates via Tottenham Yard.
the train gets a crew change at West Tower and then goes to Morwell, where
it will detach and shunt/place the Empty wagons, it also stores wagons for
Warragul,  these wagons are then sent to Warragul for Loading on the up ex
Morwell, due to Warragul not being switched in at time train is due thru
Warragul.  After shunting, and when a path is made in between passes, the
train goes to Sale and Terminates, where the crew rest,  while the crew
rest, the RTL is flat out at 15km/ph transferring empties to Hillside and
returning with Loaded to Sale  connect with 9242 the 1730 up Log to Nth
Yard. As far as I know the track has not been upgraded for Loco use as yet,
and this due to happen when ever.  the Track on the downside of Hillside has
been washed out so we can not get to Bairnsdale at this stage. I believe the
track will be upgraded when FV get the long term contract for Logs ex
Hillside.  It should also be noted that the Log Traffic has died down a
little due to Holiday season, so therefore Traffic beyond Sale is not much
at this stage.  The Safeworking System beyond Sale is Siding Conditions.
