My understanding is that the 80 class can be rebuild with parts from the now scrapped 8002 (Accacia Ridge) whilst they are looking at a Caterpillar repowering option for either 4847 or 4857.

Word from Silverton a couple of weeks ago was wait and see. It depends upon
their motive power requirements as to whether they will be used just for
spares or whether one or two 'new' units will emerge form the component parts.
