Yup, well better late than never they say, 182 memo's later that was!
On the EP front, been there, seen that, fotted that, even met up with
Mark Hardacre out near the old GPD crossing, just outa Lincoln.
Workings were triple NJ's, NJ-830-NJ, triple 830's (or 830-830-DA),
with DA7 working the shunt. No sooner were they in , they'd be
prepared and send out with the empties, usually earlier that scheduled
times.
Today's working included 851 and 842 on a ballast train, sighted Wudinna
around 1230hrs, thru Yaninee and heading to Minnipa. Empty grain hoppers
sighted at Yaninee, and on the way home, also at Kimba (no MP sighted)!
To any EP enthusiast/historian, the Historical collection displayed and
housed in the Port Lincoln station is worth a visit!!! Only $2 bucks!!
Regards,
GOB :-))
