It looks like Melbourne wasn't the only state that was dead for the first
day of the early Millennium. Beside passenger trains, the only freight to
operate was the west bound Toll with triple orange G class. Yesterday at
least we saw the first full sunny day for almost a week - finally had a
chance to photograph some of the recently painted "preserved" locos in that
1950's livery around the bg turntable at Dynon. Present around the turntable
were T390, G515 (both just in green with not wings), X40 & G543.
