RE: Log train

Aus loco discussion mailing list

Last week's Hume logs definitely had an X(38?) at one end and presumably
G522 at the other - seen from home in the distance. Haven't seen one run
yet this week - awaiting something new with anticipation.

The train Chris saw at Port Kembla with G522/4486 was also seen at Rozelle
early Tuesday afternoon. It must be the first time a log train had worked to
that location for years. It is presumed that it was from 'Wang rather than
Queanbeyan (Hume). Did anyone see it travelling down the Blue Mountains or
the empty working heading west a few days ago?
