Cooks River, Enfield & RSA Chullora Yards, 28/2

Aus loco discussion mailing list

At Cooks River at 9am this morning :

4869, 8046 and 1873 were shunting various sidings.

4486 was shut down near the entrance.

EL52 "Light Fingers" in CFCLA blue/EL51 in AN green arrived with 1MS7.

NR31/NR113/NR15 were shunting on the Botany line, under the Princes Hwy
bridge.

At Enfield at 2pm :

EL58/EL62, both in AN green, headed south around the yard with a load of
containers.

48139/48120 and 8026/8013 were stabled in the yard.

8015 was shunting in the north of the yard.

4899 came south into the yard LE.

8627/8614/8626 were in the usual spot.

At RSA Chullora

8010 was stabled with a couple of open wagons.

A very old looking 4801 in SRA red was stored by the rail loading area.

48154/48117 went around the yard towards Chullora Junction with 3 oil tanks.

There is also what look like a very old 422 in the yard, however I couldn't
see the numbers properly. Could be 42220?

Best regards,

Rob
