Afternoon All,
NR`s 80/88 arrived in Pt. Pirie with ex Whyalla Steelink service @
approx.1330 today to collect m.t. steel wagons. These locos pushed
their train in from Coonamia(as is usually the norm). Locos NR 35/10
(from overnight ore ex.Broken Hill) attached m.t. wagons to Steelink
train, while resident shunter ASR 848 assembled old AN passenger wagons
at the old car barn for disposal. From where these cars are, it looks
as if they will be departing by road transport.
