Incorrect. Freightcorp has again set a date for the transfer of 3 units to S.A (1/4/00). Some would say that that date could be an April fools joke as there have been several dates mentioned during the last 14 months of negotiations on this matter. If it does happen ( at this stage still a 50-50 chance) the 3 units will be 8222, 8223 and 8224.

Have had advice from Freight Corp that 8239 will be returning to home ground
in a matter of days.
Also 8235/36/37 are the "chosen ones" that will be equipped with the
necessary communications equipment and be sent to Port Augusta for the Leigh
Creek job.
It is expected that this should happen in about 2 months time, so get your
shots of the 81's while you can.
