Ausloco'ers
This evening, I went down to the Cooks River bridge at
Canterbury to take some photos of trains, however my camera failed only
moments before the start of the intense half hour. After much tooing and
froing, the blanky thing worked, but by then it was getting dark and the
trains had stopped. Such is life. Anyhow, while I was there I noted the
following locomotives and their trains:
* 4837/8017 down trip train 1901
* NR68/37/10 Up steel at 1903
* 8031/8021 down empty 'Stonie', 1906. (Note: This train stopped with the
last hoppers just off the bridge. Presumably it halted so as to negotiate
the crossover between the goods and suburban lines at Campsie)
* 8025/8007 up trip train 1913
* 8138/8161/8155 up loaded coal 1928
hope this has been of interest (the trains that is, not my camera
problems)
