Signed on at North Dynon Yard at 0630 Fri. 11.02.2000 to work the yard
pilot for 8 hours. Overheard that the manpower clerk needed a crew
immediately to travel to Benalla and work a grain train to Oaklands, so
both myself and my mate volunteered.
Travel per Departmental car from South Dynon Loco to Benalla and prepare
and run 9393 grain train from Benalla to Oaklands.
9393:- Loco A 71 with 26 wagons for 552 tonnes.
Depart Benalla at 1234, Goorambat 1255-1310 (detach 6 wagons), Devenish
1319, St. James 1325, Tungumah 1335, Telford 1343, Yarrawonga 1354,
Sloan 1410, Warragoon 1423, Rennie 1433, Sanger 1447, Wangamon 1459,
Arrive Oaklands 1511 and shunt and stable loco.
Return to South Dynon loco depot per Taxi. Sign off 2000 for 13 and a
half hours.
