RE: Diesel shunter location

Aus loco discussion mailing list

It was most likely X104 at Wauchope. It was commissioned on 24/2/64 as X204. It was built on a bogie frame of a 60 class Garratt by the NSW Government Railways. It was renumbered to X104 as the X100 class is allowed to be driven by station staff etc, not necessarily drivers. The loco was purchased by the Dorrigo Steam Railway and Museum and transported to Dorrigo late in 1999.
Regards,
Chris.
