Aus loco discussion mailing list
Patrick,
I would like to take the
time to say Thank you for a great email list, i have too found this group the
only decent one around, without the political crap you get on Aus.Rail, I
know I have stepped over the line once, with the advertising of a trip I ran
with WCR. I was pleased we got the trip of the ground in such short time and
wanted to expose the details widley, you know the story. I am sorry
for any greif I have sent the list. If Ausloco does pack up and
leave, Thanks for a great time. I am going to unsubscribe very soon.
and if any readers want to know whats happening around Geelong and Lara, please
email me. I would love to hear from you all.
Steve
Dalton.

Yes, I'd echo
that. Even when your question was more about trains and traffics
more than the actual locos, you could get an intelligent answer that
prompted you to take the matter off-list if you wanted to pursue the
non-loco related aspects. Unfortunately, there is not another online
rail resource which does that. There used to be a rolling stock
resource, but I think it has moved onto CD rom and is not now available. I
think I've only once ever gotten a response from aus.rail which was
helpful in finding out something about Australian
railways.
Cheers
Ben
