1) Only a very small minority of people on the list would have to call STD
to access email.

2) Magazines are physically limited by space, take time to come out and
cannot be corrected in a hurry. For example, Digest reported some time ago
that NR had gained the Toll contract. By the time it went to press, NR had
lost it again!

3) There is and will continue to be a need for near real time updtes of
information.

Simply, if you don't find the list useful then don't subscribe.
