G'day all,

Imagine the anger of the five Japanese who paid big money to fly to
Australia and were waiting at Diggers' Rest for the 2 R's GM36 and T387
to come past. It appears that some delays? in shunting at Spencer Street
saw the train eventually leave at around 1230 and run via Bacchus Marsh
and NOT Diggers' Rest. There were quite a few unamused people waiting in
the cold - including me. Just as well that Good Friday was a good day
all round. The shots of S313 at Wodonga sitting in the pale evening sun
should be quite nice - and it was a pleasant surprise to meet up with
Pete Kilburn from Junee.

What will happen on Monday, eh?

David.
