While out courting last night, I took the opportunity on the way back 
from the Show to be on Lidcombe Station when 8149 (or 8148) came through 
on the up western (No. 1 platform) line with a container freight at 
around 2130. I am wondering if this was a regular service, or one held 
over until the end of the 'peak' show period each day. There were also 
some Country link services that came through, such as a late running up 
Canberra Xplorer at around 2145, and a late running up Melbourne XPT at 
Regent's Park around 2120. can anyonoe amplify what the arrangements for 
freight traffic are during the show (seeing as this is a dress rehearsal 
for the Olympics). Tks in advance
