Hello,

F.A. 3984 was held at Yass this afternoon to cross N.R. PS6.

But before PS6 arrived, a late running XPT ST3 (about 100 minutes) was given 
access to the Down platform.

The rear power car (unit 2009) had 'blown up' near Mittagong requiring the 
attendance of the local fire brigade.

This newly repainted engine now sports a fresh coat of engine oil!

Surprisingly 3984 had the motive power of G522/X45. These two units had been 
running on the log trains of late.

For the record PS6 had NR14/90.

Later that day F.C. mill wheat 1377 was sited with locos 8145/4877/48124.
