Re: 38 class to Victoria

Hi

Just wondered if anyone from the NSWRTM can provide a reason for 3830 not
doing the day tour from Melbourne to Seymour on Easter Sunday. Having seen
the schedule which shows 3801 rostered for it, would it be possible to
operate 3830 instead, due to the previous high level of exposure that 3801
has had on similiar tours, eg. Bicentenial Train 1988 and Melbourne Steam
Festival 1973?

I've nothing against 3801 but I'm sure most Victorian railfans would agree
that it would be nice to see and photograph non-streamlined 3830 running a
tour on the northeast standard gauge for a change.
