Evening All
Following heavy rain and a washaway in SA, the Indian
Pacific was diverted at Parkes last night, running instead via the cross country
line to Cootamundra West, then via the main south to Melbourne, the IP
arrived at Junee at 0450, an engine and the crew were pinched off PW 4
which had arrived at 0435, the IP left Junee around
0520,
The remainder of PW 4 remained in Junee yard until 1630
when a crew became available, the train with NR 120 Taree, long end leading
departed at 1700, the loco is to be turned on the Cootamundra
triangle,
