Re: GNR/Austrac T373 Crash

Aus loco discussion mailing list

Hello,

For the record, this accident occurred yesterday afternoon (11/4) when the T
was returning light engine from Koorawatha.

The Prime Seven Wagga news tonight stated the tractor was a Massey Ferguson!
No mention of details re the GNR T class.

Unfortunately, the driver of the tractor was killed.

Not making light of the accident, could it be that after all but blue locos
on trains for the last couple of years passing through this area, that a
'foreign' object was not recognised as dangerous?

Bye.
