Hello,

Just heard this one.

Commencing from the 1st of July this year, ATN (Tasrail/Wisconsin Central 
etc) are to start a wheat haulage contract between southern NSW and 
Victoria.

The motive power to be used are the Ex-Westrail L class presently being 
overhauled at Whyalla by NRE/Alco.

Approximately 300,000 tonnes of wheat will be transported similarly to what 
F.A. is presently doing.

Anyone like to photograph maroon trains?
