I remember hearing about this, but I was working nights at the time so I
missed it. I have checked my record books which go back to 5/99 and there
was only one other occasion that I have seen an 81 on this working, which
was when NR69 and 8117 did the honours on 4WQ3 ex Medway on 12/1/2000.

PS While flicking through my record books I saw an interesting NR and 81
combo on MS4 on 25/6/99 NR67+NR68+8121+8114 (not exactly the same as an
DL+81 combo but nearly as good).
