Enfield & NR Chullora Yards, 10/4

At Enfield at 2pm :

8039/8033 came south around the yard with 30 mt wagons on a sand stone train 
bound for White Bay. The train stopped just before the level crossing into 
the yards for a crew change.

48?/4854? departed the N end of the yard with a loading of containers. (This 
could have been the locos from this morning's posting "48132/48145 were 
stabled on the S with a rake of containers" - I only just caught sight of it 
as it departed)

8133 was stabled by the main building as per this morning.

8633 was stabled with a few mt conflats by the main building.

4852/4876 were stabled with conflats.

I heard that LVRF came through at about 1.30pm with 4716/EL58/EL62, not sure 
of the order, nor the orientation.


At NR Chullora at 2.15pm :

3 NR? locos in Orange & Grey & 1 NR? in Steel Link dark blue/grey were 
stabled on the S side of the yard.

8108 was stabled in the SE of the yard.

NR? went LE round Chullora Junction towards Enfield Yards.

The Earthworks on the yard extension are proceeding at break-neck speed. 
Does anyone know when the new yard is due for completion?


At Rookwood at 2.30pm :

442s1 LE came N from NR Chullora.

8173 LE came N from Enfield.


At RSA Chullora :

8010 & 42202 were stabled near the rail storage yard.
