Aus loco discussion mailing list
Apart from 8007 sighted earlier at Central, the trip home on the sometime
around 6 pm all stations to Bankstown, etc via Sydenham provided evidence
of the domination of the 81 class around the metro goods line.
First up at Meeks Road was 8132 and 7 loaded 'platforms' behind with a
shunt to Cooks River awaiting the road at 1820.
Second was the triple of 8119/8159/8162 on an up laoded coal that roared
through Dulwich Hill station at around 1823. It seemed a short train,
because the train was finished shortly after my train cleared Dulwich
Hill station, leaving me mystified.... Unless I had one of my patented
micro power naps on the train. Hmmm....
Have a top weekend everyone
Scott
