GNRS' GM22 and 27 at Dimboola

Great Northern's GM22 and GM27 both appeared in Dimboola yard this morning,
aparently arriving on last night's Patricks' MA3 / 9755  service.  They were
marshalled back to back, with GM22 facing towards Melbourne and GM27 towards
Adelaide.

At 11 00 they departed West, light engine, as train number 9741, and were to
return later in the day as train number 9742.  They returned sometime
between 13 00 and 15 30, again light engine, and were once again shut down
in the yard.

What they did out West is unknown - rumour that they are running ballst
trains(?).  Does anyone know any more details?

Other observatoins for the day included G519 in V/Line Freight colours shut
down in Dimboola yard for the day, but departed towards Melbourne at 16 05.

9821 steel train hauled by NR81 and NR80 arrived at Dimboola at 11 20.

G520 in V/Line colours was stabed in Horsham yard.

The Ghan led by NR85 arrived Dimboola at 15 56 and departed at 15 59,
heading for Melbourne.
