8039/8007 arrived at Moss Vale last night at 17.45 on 2138 and proceeded to
Berrima Junction to lift 20 loaded cement wagons.
The locos reversed prior to daparture for Sydney via Robertson due to a shut
down between Glenlee and Glenfield for resignalling over this weekend.
I was of the opinion that 80 class were banned on the "mountain" due to the
noise of their dynamic brakes. As far as I am concerned, the railway was
there before the new residential developments, so why should these
additional restraints be placed upon pre-existing infrastructure?
