Photo Gallery
I have been sent a number of photos by one of our interstate Members which I have made in to our initial photo gallery.
I will be adding to this page as other photos become available.
The following photos are courtesy Geoff Ind. Captions will follow a little later.
Here are a few photos from the fleet shifting day, 25th October 2002.
Firstly, here I am hooking up the wandering lead.
Small, Large.
The wandering lead enabled us to move the stored trams under their own power on the new Road 10, which does not yet have overhead.
It is a slow process which needs a number of people, but is easier than towing the trams out with the tractor.
Here we see the wandering lead being worked as D 192 is driven out of the shed.
Small, Large.
Once the tram reaches the new switch, the wandering lead is removed and the main line overhead can be used.
Here is G "Birney" 303 being changed over.
Small, Large.
The last electric tram in the new shed is Adelaide's newest tram, the 49 year old H1 381.
Here is this spectacular tram emerging from the new shed.

A number of new photos of these trams have been added to their respective pages.
